This very RARE, old cocktail book, entitled, THE COCKTAIL BOOK - A Sideboard Manual For Gentlemen, is issued for the The St. Botolph Society by L.C.Page & Company Publishers Boston. This edition is published and printed in 1928. A rare and hard-to-find classic cocktail book.
It features the Blue Blazer (Blazes), Bacardi Dry, Navy, New Orleans, Florida, Absinthe, as well as standard favorites, the Marguerite, Martini, Manhattan, Whiskey Sour, Mint Julep, and a few Fizz, Flip, Cooler, Cup, and Cobblers.
Authorship is attributed to Frederic Lawrence Knowles although no author is given.
Condition of the inside pages:
Good+ to Very Good. Very clean and tight. No writings or marks at all.
The cover boards (front, spine and back) see some heavy wear and signs of it's age. See photos for details!
