JACK'S MANUAL by J.A. GROHUSKO (Recipes for Fancy Mixed Drinks And How To Serve - Cocktails, Cobblers, Coolers, Cordials, Daisies, Flips, Fizzes, Highballs, Juleps, Punches, Rickeys, Smashes, Sours, Cups Sangarees and Toddies).
This very hard to find old cocktail book edition was printed back in 1933, and published by ALFRED A. KNOPF (New York). Mainly recipes, but it also contains chapters about the "History of Cocktails", "The Great American Cocktail", "A Few Reminders for Bartenders" and some toasts.
The condition of this cocktail book is acceptable. The interior pages are clean and tight, with no spottings or markings. Probably some kind of cocktail accident in the past caused water stains on many pages (see photos), and on parts of the back cover boards. Overall still a good collectors item as the pages otherwise are clean and without spottings. See photos for details!
Hardbound cover. 250 pages.
